Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
Dr. Danny Collins, PT, DPT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Public
Health, with a secondary degree in Gerontology, from Kansas State University. He continued
on to the 花椒直播, where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy
in 2017. He is currently attending the University of Indianapolis to obtain his Doctorate
in Health Science.
After graduating, Dr. Collins worked as a contract Physical Therapist in an outpatient
clinic prior to starting a career as a Home Health Physical Therapist throughout the
Kansas City area. Through Home Health he treats an array of conditions including orthopedic,
cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions among a geriatric population. Dr. Collins
returned to the Stefani Doctor of Physical Therapy program as an Adjunct Professor
in 2018 prior to coming on as a full-time faculty member in 2022. He is a licensed
Physical Therapist in Kansas and Missouri.
Dr. Collins is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Kansas Physical
Therapy Association, the Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy,
the Academy of Leadership and Innovation, and the United Endurance Sports Coaching
Academy.
