Dr. Trent earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Rockhurst University in 2007, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2010, and a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2022.
Licensed in Kansas and Missouri, Dr. Trent has over 10 years of experience as a clinician and clinical instructor in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation services, where he was awarded the Kathy Johnson Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching. He is recognized as an orthopedic board-certified specialist in physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He carries additional certification in spinal manual therapy from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Dr. Trent joined the 花椒直播 in 2020, and he currently teaches coursework covering the assessment and management of orthopedic conditions. He is passionate about community service and technology in the DPT student experience and serves as chair of the respective committees. His research focuses on point-of-care motion capture in outpatient physical therapy.
Dr. Trent has a wife, two children, and a slew of pets. He enjoys pick-up sports and board gaming.
