Nicole Clark

Dr. Nicole Clark, PT, MSPT, PhD, obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. She then earned a PhD in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Her dissertation research was on the remote effects of dry needling in patients with low back pain.

Dr. Clark joined the »¨½·Ö±²¥ Stefani Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2020. Before joining the »¨½·Ö±²¥, she was an adjunct faculty member at Marymount University in Virginia. She has nearly 20 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and became certified in dry needling in 2009.

Dr. Clark serves on the board of APTA Kansas and is a current member of the Academy of Research and the Academy of Education of the APTA. Her research interests include the remote effects of manual therapy and physical therapists’ attitudes and beliefs about research as part of their entry-level curriculum and career. She has been invited to speak at state and national conferences on both topics.
