Typical Time Requirements:
- 4 years: Graduate with Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- 5 years: Meet the requirements to sit for the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) exams*
- 6 years: Earn an MBA (Master of Business Administration) Degree, with a concentration in accounting

Upper-level course coursework for a major in accounting includes 33 semester hours of accounting theory and practice.
