1. One-on-one attention really means the faculty know you and your professional goals 鈥� whether it鈥檚 in sports med or geriatrics 鈥� or you have your sights set on a residency program.
2. Hands-on work in a pro-bono clinic from day one 鈥� you don鈥檛 have to wait a semester or a year; our first-year students have this opportunity immediately.
3. Clinical partners across the country: Wide selection of locations and settings.
4. Not many schools have a Manual Therapy Club, but we do. This is an incredible opportunity for students and faculty to collaborate and learn about manual therapy and practice techniques outside the classroom.  
5. Community: a core value we don鈥檛 just talk about. Everyone really knows everyone.
6. Customize your courses. This isn鈥檛 something you hear very often in an accredited PT program. At USM though, you can choose your elective: Sports Medicine, Spinal Mobilization, or Women鈥檚 Health.
7. Affordable and private usually don鈥檛 go together, but at USM they do. We don鈥檛 have a long list of extra fees.
8. Pictures don鈥檛 do USM鈥檚 campus justice. About 99.9% of our students say, 鈥淐ampus is beautiful!鈥� And, there鈥檚 200 acres of it, including a disc golf course.
9. No preference given 鈥� every applicant (in-state/out-of-state; USM alum or not) has an equal shot.
10. Locked tuition - Students will not see annual increases.
