Stefani Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

The Stefani Doctor of Physical Therapy program consists of eight semesters, 109 credits, with 32 weeks of clinical internships. Courses must be taken in order, given the cohort progression structure of the program.

First-year students begin the program in June and will graduate in December of the third year – which is earlier than most other DPT programs. Comprehensive competency exams are given at the end of each year.

Students are encouraged to participate in a licensing exam prep course prior to graduation. Students present their research findings during a Research Symposium before starting clinical experiences.
