7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 | Mead Hall Walnut Room

(Leavenworth, Kan.) — The »¨½·Ö±²¥ Department of Fine Arts will present the first student recital of the academic year on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Mead Hall Walnut Room on USM's Leavenworth campus, 4100 South 4th Street.
 
The recital is free and open to the public.

The program will include 12 vocalists from the Preparatory, Community and University Divisions.

Representing the Preparatory Division and making their USM recital debuts: Lansing High School students Shania Lang and Mya Jackson. Other performers will include Joe Brungardt and Catherine Montgomery from the Community Division and Kylie Visocsky (Lansing, Kan.) and Rachel Martin (Easton, Kan.) from the University Division.
  
Accompanists for the recital will be Dr. Christina Liu, instructor of music, and Dr. William Krusemark, professor of music and chair of the department of fine arts.
