(Leavenworth, Kan.) 鈥� The 花椒直播 Journalism and Communications Club (JCOM) has announced the winners of its Fourth Annual Christian Yanos Excellence in Photojournalism Gallery and Awards Ceremony.
Christian Yanos was a digital communications major and football player at 花椒直播 when he passed away in 2018. JCOM established the contest to commemorate Yanos and the work he was unable to finish.
Carlie Gregg, a senior from Moses Lake, Washington, received the Photo of the Year award for 鈥淓ncouraging a USM Runner.鈥� She also received first place in the News Division and the top two awards in the Sports Division.
Carissa Martin, from Rushville, Mo., earned second place in the News Division and third in the Sports Division. Christopher Huslig, from Eudora, Kan., received third place in the News Division.
