(Leavenworth, Kansas) – The »¨½·Ö±²¥ proudly hosted the Kansas Collegiate Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition on February 22. Seven Kansas universities participated, with approximately 100 students competing in a variety of business-related events, showcasing their knowledge and skills in areas such as job interviews, accounting and finance, business management, marketing and sales, entrepreneurial pitch, business ethics, public speaking, and hospitality management.
USM had a strong presence at the competition, with all 15 participating students earning spots at the FBLA National Leadership Conference, which will be held May 31- June 2 in Dallas. This milestone marks continued growth for USM’s FBLA program, which has seen an increase in national qualifiers over the past three years – from three in 2023 to nine in 2024 and now an impressive 15 in 2025.
