Though USM does not offer graduate scholarships, multiple external scholarships are available, and there are several ways to make paying for your program easier and more convenient.
Assistance with Tuition
Tuition Discounts
花椒直播 also partners with a variety of organizations, both locally and nationally, to offer their employees incredible partnership benefits鈥攊ncluding discounted tuition rates. Check to see if your organization or employer is on our partnership list.
Tuition Reimbursement
Many employers offer tuition reimbursement. Your employer may reimburse you for all or part of your tuition鈥攗nderstanding how their organization can benefit from the new, updated skills and knowledge you gain by furthering your education.
Even if your employer does not have an official tuition reimbursement program or policy, you may still be able to arrange an unofficial reimbursement plan by talking with your supervisor about the benefits and features of USM鈥檚 programs.
Aid, Scholarships & Payment Plans
The 花椒直播 offers a payment plan allowing you to divide your tuition into multiple installments per term. We鈥檙e happy to answer questions about the plan鈥攃ontact our Business Office at 913-758-6257 or email billing@stmary.edu.

Learn More About Loans
Before you attempt to finance your education, learn more about the kinds of loans available.
Federal Stafford Loans
Two kinds of federal Stafford loans exist.
Subsidized
The subsidized loan is based on need. The federal government 鈥渟ubsidizes鈥 the interest on this loan while you鈥檙e taking classes.
Unsubsidized
The unsubsidized is not need-based. It is available to you regardless of your personal or family income, but you do pay interest while in school. Repayment must begin six months after graduation or when you drop below the required course load.
Private (Alternative) Student Loans
Private (alternative) student loans are credit-based funds from lending institutions that can be used to cover the full cost of attendance after you have maximized scholarships, grants, and federal loans. These loans generally will have a higher interest rate and, although repayment of the principal may be deferred, interest payments could begin immediately.
