A League of Our Own

Sport Management Student

Sport is a growing industry, with an annual revenue of over $400 billion. For bright students, it can mean a wealth of opportunities. From advertising sales to working as a sports information director, a degree in sport management is your ticket to get in on the action.

As a sport management major, you’ll not only learn about the psychological principles at work behind sports, but how sports fit into and influence our society. You’ll examine how the business sector and sports world interact, and how to make the most of these interactions. You’ll work in a collaborative classroom, with experienced faculty dedicated to your college and career success.

What Can You Do with a Sport Management Degree?

There’s really no limit to what you can do with a degree in sport management. Graduates go on to be athletic directors, business managers, general managers, and event supervisors. You may land a job as a sports information director, marketing director, tournament director, or ticket sales coordinator. And if you are interested in becoming a coach, think about minoring in coaching.
