Spiro's Cupboard
Hungry? We're here to help.
Spiro's Cupboard is a food exchange available for free to all University of Saint Mary students. Location: Miege 101.
How does it work? It's simple, really:
-
Take what you need. Worried where your next meal is going to come from? Too much month at the end of your money? Can't shop for groceries until payday. That's why Spiro's Cupboard exists.
-
Give when you can. Payday? Cha-ching! Find a great sale on canned veggies? Realized that you have WAY too many cans of tuna? When you have extra, you can give back to help the shelves of Spiro's Cupboard stay full. Monetary donations to support the cupboard are taken at Mass each week and in the Campus Ministry office anytime.
You can help!
-
Spread the word to students who may be hungry and those in your spheres of influence who might be able to support the effort.
-
Give what you can. The goal is to provide shelf-stable, nutritious foods (not just junk food or snacks) to nourish our student body.
